Professional Activities and Memberships:
Jason joined RAM Financial Group in January 2001. His responsibilities include research, analysis, and performing extensive due diligence – both on prospective stock market investments and a diverse array of Alternative Investments not correlated to the stock market. These include Oil & Gas, Alternative Energy Sources, Real Estate, Venture Capital Lending Programs, and Lease Equity Programs. To determine which investments are most suitable for RAM Financial Group and its clients, Jason visits the home office of many of the companies that sponsor and manage the Alternative Investments to meet with their executives and examine the day to day operations.
Once investments are made, Jason is responsible for monitoring and managing brokerage accounts, as well as monitoring the managers and performance of the Alternative Investments.
Jason earned his Finance degree from Texas State University’s McCoy School of Business in December 2001 as a member of the Honors Program. Jason held many leadership roles in the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, served on the board of the International Fraternity Council, and organized many philanthropic projects for the North American Food Drive. Jason also participated in TSU’s Student Foundation, served as an Admissions Ambassador, and as chairperson on the committee that founded the current New Student Program.
At the early age of 14, Jason began watching CNBC, and started to research, analyze, and pick stocks. His parents opened an online account for him to begin his investment career and allowed him to use the profits only to pay for his college education.
Adam joined RAM Financial Group after graduating from Hawaii Pacific University in 2007, earning a BS in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurial Studies. Adam played basketball for two years at the University of California in San Diego before being recruited by HPU in Honolulu. His decision to return to Austin was made largely in part to reunite with his family and to be able to influence his younger brothers’ development.
The financial industry has been of interest to Adam since he was a boy, due to his father’s passion for, and success in, the financial world. In June of 2010, Adam became the Branch Manager gaining supervisory responsibilities.
Adam spends his free time helping youth develop the lifelong benefits associated with competitive athletics. He holds a part-time coaching position at St. Andrew's Episcopal School where he is the Head Coach of the Boys Junior Varsity Basketball team.
Sharon has been working in the financial services industry since 1987. Prior to joining RAM Financial Group in 1999, she worked for a brokerage firm as a personal assistant to two brokers, and as an assistant bank loan officer.
Sharon’s duties include client services and all administrative details of the office. If you happen to have an appointment during the lunch hour, she also makes a mean turkey sandwich.
Her home town is San Angelo, Texas, where she attended Angelo State University. Sharon and her husband have four children, and one grandchild.
Brett joined RAM Financial Group in June 2007 and his responsibilities include business development, marketing, and client relationships.
Prior to joining RAM Financial
Group Brett received his Bachelor of Science in Business Foundations,
Youth and Community Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in
May 2006. Brett earned a full scholarship from UT and played on the
2005 National Championship Longhorn Football Team. The following
season, UT Longhorn Football Coach, Mack Brown, awarded Brett the “Whatever It Takes Award”, which signifies Brett’s
commitment and drive to help his teammates (and clients) win.
Upon his graduation Brett was invited to multiple NFL tryouts, and was offered several football coaching opportunities. He decided to pursue his involvement with professional football in a different manner. Brett saw the importance of good financial decisions for those of his teammates going on to the NFL. Brett’s goal for our professional athlete clients is to help secure their financial future, not only during their career, but for the many years after their professional sports career has ended.
Brett’s involvement with RAM Financial Group enables him to help ranchers and landowners utilize sound strategies such as Estate Planning services to prevent the liquidation of large land holdings to pay the estate tax.
While football required most of Brett’s time in college, he made time for his friends and family, and his passion for hunting and fishing. During the summer months, Brett worked as Director of Community Development for TexasHuntFish.com.
Adam joined RAM Financial Group in July 2010 as a Business Development Associate. His primary focus is business development and maintaining client relationships.
Adam graduated from Texas State University in December 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. He held many leadership roles on campus with Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, International Fraternity Council, Campus Crusade, and other University sponsored philanthropic organizations like Bobcat Build and PAWS Preview - a new student orientation program. Within these organizations Adam helped organize and lead several specific philanthropic projects for the North American Food Drive and hurricane Katrina cleanup efforts in New Orleans. He also led fundraising campaigns and spoke at several donor events across the country for Campus Crusade.
Adam has spent time in the banking industry, private equity fund raising, and in luxury real estate marketing. He married the woman of his dreams, Corrie, in December of 2007 and they love living in the beautiful Texas Hill Country with their dog Maggie.
Adam gained an appreciation for the energy and equity markets growing up in the home of a fundamental analyst and a banker, which instilled in him the importance of being a good steward of what has been given to us. This is why Adam is so passionate about what he does. He gets to continue this legacy with his clients by helping them with sound investment strategies and estate planning.
